In 1990, Crystal’s family moved to Los Angeles so she could pursue acting professionally. After being rejected by several agents due to her height, Crystal was finally given a chance at auditioning after meeting agent Risë Stevens who encouraged her not to give up because there were many roles for women taller than average height in Hollywood. In 1991, she joined the ABC soap opera Days of our Lives – where she maintains an ongoing role.

She has directed episodes of Days of our Lives and she also starred in the TV series “One Life to Live.” She is currently starring on Lifetime’s show, Devious Maids. Crystal was born in Philadelphia but grew up primarily in Tucson, Arizona.
